Lou enjoys breaking complex systems down to understand how they work — whether that’s structuring and delivering a curriculum, building an end-to-end analytics workflow, or deliberately constructing large and complex datasets to test the limits of analytical platforms.
Lou has hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau Public, multiple SQL dialects, and Python, and is particularly drawn to projects that require troubleshooting, iteration, and careful refinement. When Lou fixates on a problem, he is persistent in exploring solutions and, where possible, resolving issues independently. This level of attention and follow-through is reflected throughout his GitHub projects.
Lou also enjoys sharing ideas and work he finds meaningful. He has previously presented a detailed study on Cognitive Load Theory, produced during his teacher training, which contributed to earning a distinction. Outside of analytics, he maintains a range of online and offline hobbies — including a long-standing interest in the rhythm game osu!.
